Good Jobs

Kentucky is near the bottom of the nation ranking 43rd in job growth and 44th in wages – a whopping 20% below the national average. I will work every day to attract good-paying jobs that enable our hardworking men and women to raise their families.

I support Governor Beshear’s positions on right-to-work and prevailing wage laws. Why should a realtor or dentist enjoy a fair wage for services rendered while the union worker cannot? Further, many studies show that right-to-work laws hurt workers, the middle class, and local economies.
